Mobile Music & The Ipod Frenzy

Technology I've been listening to podcasts on and off for about six months now. My wife bought me an iPod Shuffle for my birthday in June but I've only recently begun listening to podcasts on it. Previously, I would listen to my podcasts on my PC. My problem was (and is) that I absolutely hate Apple's iTunes software. I find it bloated and a bit of a resource hog. Also, it seemed to take over my PC and would start itself at unexpected moments, even when I didn't want it to.
