Innopocket Clear/Magnesium Case for iPod 4G

JoshB posted a photo: Innopocket sent me some pre-production cases to check out. Here's one with Tim Germer's 4G iPod 20GB inside. My new 20GB iPod Color is ever-so-slightly too thick to fit in the case. The front of the case is clear plastic (ABS, I think?), and the back half is magnesium. I didn't get a shot of the back, but it has a stud for a belt clip, and a hoop for a lanyard. Very nice, an ... (more)

Ya really, there is no mention of what the patent is for at all. I assume, given that this is MS and Apple we are talking about, that it is for some amazingly general idea. Probably "portable music device that plays mp3s". Or "variable volume control". Or "the color white". Wouldn't Sony have had a portable music device playing compressed music files for a lot longer with the minidisc? Me no get.
